Activities:
The Irving Art Association has many regular activities, including free art groups, our regular monthly members meeting the fourth Tuesday of each month, plus we have a reception for each new exhibit, and the occasional holiday party, or holiday themed activity. Since the IAA is a community organization, non-members are welcome to participate in all free events and activities. Other activities, such as fee-based workshops and exhibits may have members only participation, or be open to non-members with a discount fee to members.

Tuesday Painters is the oldest continuing group in the IAA. The group started in 1956, and has continued for over six decades. Each individual working in their preferred medium, everyone brings their own supplies, and joins in the conversation and fun. Tuesday Painters is a work at your own pace on your own unique projects gathering. Creative support is always available to participants, and everyone from beginners to advanced painters are welcome. You don't have to call to make a reservation. Just grab your supplies and head to the gallery on Tuesday. Tuesday Painters is a free IAA sponsored activity for adults. No children, please.

Join us and other art enthusiasts at the gallery on Saturday afternoon for a bit of creativity, and socializing. Rachel Gregory will be your host. Everyone is welcome, family and friends alike at no charge, though we do have a policy of no unattended children at the gallery under any circumstances.

Join the crazy Collage CutUps the 2nd and 4th Friday evening of each month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Irving Art Association gallery. We have plenty of supplies on hand, but feel free to bring your own, or bring extra to share. Elmer's Glue and Mod Podge are always welcome since that is what holds everything together. Families welcome, 13 and up. No unattended children at the gallery under any circumstances.
